Suzhou Revolution Museum is located at No.3 Sanxiang Road 12 16, Suzhou. With the approval of Suzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, 1993 was opened. The exhibition hall covers an area of 1 10,000 square meters, with a main building of 7,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 3,000 square meters. The appearance of the museum is simple and solemn, with strong local characteristics and distinctive "revolutionary" characteristics.
The Revolutionary Museum has two basic exhibitions: one is the exhibition of Suzhou revolutionary history, which systematically, truly and vividly reflects the revolutionary struggle of Suzhou people under the leadership of China in various historical periods of the new-democratic revolution through more than 300 photos, more than 200 objects, more than 100 charts, artworks, scene models and phantom imaging. Since April 2004, Suzhou Revolutionary History Exhibition has been open to the public free of charge all the year round. Second, the large-scale multimedia semi-landscape demonstration project "Yangcheng bonfire" is based on the anti-Japanese story of military and civilian unity that happened on the bank of Yangcheng Lake during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. Through various means such as sound, light and electricity, the demonstration process is perfectly combined with 1000 square meters giant oil painting and 500 square meters scene model, which produces special artistic effects and gives people an immersive feeling.
In addition to the basic exhibition, the Revolution Museum also has two mobile exhibition halls, East and West. According to the theme propaganda task and the needs of the audience, temporary exhibitions reflecting the fashion of the times and loved by the audience are held continuously, including revolutionary traditional education, current affairs and political propaganda, popular science education, culture and art and other topics.
