Let's talk about landmarks: a city in Guangxi. When I graduated from college, I worked as a junior high school teacher at the grassroots level. After the expiration of my service, I was admitted to the municipal establishment (the municipal library) and later to the civil service. Therefore, I have experienced the work of public institutions-civil servants.
Perhaps our place is relatively backward, but it can be compared with places with similar economic development level, otherwise it will have no reference value. Personally, civil servants are superior to public institutions in the following aspects:
First, the monthly salary of civil servants is higher. This refers to pure wages, and the gap is obvious. From teachers' career establishment to municipal career establishment, township teachers were 700+ less than municipal career establishment at that time, and the salaries of civil servants from municipal career establishment to municipal level were 600+ less. This refers to the gap at the beginning, and if we go further, the gap is estimated to be even greater.
Second, the performance pay of civil servants is higher. The performance of township institutions is 400+ less than that of municipal institutions, and the monthly performance of municipal institutions is 700+ less than that of civil servants. Institutions are issued once every six months, and civil servants are issued monthly. And the performance bonus of civil servants is another part of the treatment. Institutions belong to performance pay, and this part of the money is deducted from their own salary and then sent back.
Third, other welfare benefits are also better for civil servants. For example, our civil servants also have some small benefits such as car compensation, property compensation and food compensation, but in public institutions, these are not available. If it is the establishment of township grass-roots undertakings, there are township supplements, about 300+ per month. And the medical insurance treatment is also better for civil servants ~ ~ who knows who uses this.
Fourth, civil servants also have advantages in job promotion. The promotion way of civil servants is rank promotion, such as department level, deputy department level, department level and deputy department level. Generally, a unit has multiple staffing places, which are basically promoted within the unit. You can usually sneak into the official section.
Career preparation pays attention to the evaluation of professional titles. This is basically based on qualifications. In the past, when I was editing my career, I couldn't get to a higher level for two or three years. Many experienced teachers and seniors are waiting. However, even if civil servants can't be deputy section chief, section chief or deputy director, they can be promoted to the treatment of section chief and deputy section chief, that is, the treatment of non-leadership positions.
I think the working environment of civil servants is also better. Generally speaking, the civil service unit will have two layers of units, and the second layer of subordinates belongs to public institutions. For example, the Municipal Cultural Bureau is affiliated to the library (belonging to public institutions). I don't care how my son feels. Of course, I'm great. It's better to ask people to do it themselves ~ ~ So some institutions feel suppressed by civil servants and often controlled by higher-level civil servants, and they are definitely not happy enough to work.
The above are some differences shared by civil servants and individuals in institutions, of course, excluding public office. Because civil servants and institutions are different lines, my experience mainly includes the comparison when the platform is unified at the same level. For example, we can't compare the newly graduated civil servants with the leaders of public institutions who have worked for 15 years. There is no comparison. Civil servants and institutions are good jobs, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. When choosing a job, we should comprehensively consider our hobbies and majors and make a correct and suitable choice.
In short, if there are civil servants and institutions to choose from when you graduate, it is better to choose civil servants for your own career development.
