According to the Ministry of Education's Notice on Some Retired Soldiers' Students Applying for Student Loan Compensation, eligible college students should first report to the financial department of the university where they are located, and then submit them to the retired soldiers affairs department of the provincial people's government after being audited by the school. Qualification requirements:
(1) Full-time undergraduate and junior college students have been active servicemen during their studies, and their service time is not less than two years;
(2) Students have enjoyed the national student loan and repaid it in accordance with the relevant regulations, but they have not repaid it in time due to the expiration of service and other reasons, and the outstanding loan principal applied for compensation does not exceed 50,000 yuan.
