I am a proud and unwilling girl. After failing in the senior high school entrance examination, I chose a vocational school. After entering the vocational high school, I found that it is also a big stage, with many excellent students and many opportunities to show their specialties. I can give full play to my specialty here. It is a very good choice for me who is struggling in my studies.
My grades in junior high school are not very good. At that time, I felt inferior and didn't have a chance to show myself. But after entering the vocational high school, I gradually found my confidence.
Last semester, I participated in the "Star of Campus Media" competition organized by our school. In this activity, I gave full play to my spoken English. After several competitions, I finally won the second prize and entered the school radio station. After this competition, teachers and classmates also affirmed my ability and I became more confident. In the following days, I presided over various activities in classes, departments and schools. I exercised myself more fully.
My major is finance, and everyone will feel bored when I hear this word for the first time. But when I entered this major and gradually became familiar with it, I felt that there was a different world here.
My best skill is counting coins, which is a small calculator. This is also one of my favorite skills. When I first came into contact with this skill, I found it very difficult. I must practice speed and mental arithmetic. The teacher also invited several high school students with excellent skills to give a demonstration. I can't believe how my brothers and sisters can play so well. I don't think I will reach that level. I asked them what their trick was, and they only said one word-practice. I didn't believe it then. It's that simple? I also did as they said, and went home to practice for more than ten minutes every day. Finally, it's worth the money, and my grades are among the best in the whole grade, which also proves that their statement is correct. Only practice can achieve a high level, we must be down-to-earth and not afraid of hard work. In this process, I not only mastered a skill skillfully, but also gained a lot from it. I understand that behind many successes, more is persistence and hard work, more is sweat and perseverance. Practice makes perfect, that's what it means.
The teachers here are very responsible for every student, and under the careful teaching of teachers in various subjects, my cultural achievements are also among the best. I used to be poor at math, but now I can get 890 points. No matter when and where, I believe that as long as you pay, you will get something.
In the second semester of Senior Two, I was successfully elected as the director of the learning department of the Student Union with a serious and positive learning attitude. I am proud and willing to help more students make progress together. In the process of studying and working, students can also exercise their working ability well. I hope that with my own efforts and enterprising spirit, I can become the chairman or the minister of the Ministry of Education in my second year of high school. Of course, this is not an easy thing, nor is it impossible. Only when there is a goal can there be progress, which makes me full of confidence in my study and life in vocational high schools. I believe I can do it!
