Hong Kong University of Education (hereinafter referred to as Jiao Da; English: Hong Kong University of Education (EdUHK) is a normal university in Hong Kong. Formerly known as the Hong Kong Institute of Education, it is one of the eight statutory public universities under the University Grants Committee.

Departmental setup

Official website shows that the Hong Kong University of Education has five university-level and ten college-level R&D centers covering education, social sciences and humanities. At the international level, the university was awarded the Chair of "Technical Education, Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning" by UNESCO, and established the Observatory of "Research on Local Culture and Creative Education".

In addition, according to the application results of government preferential research grants in 201-12, among the eight universities in Hong Kong, the success rate of funded projects ranks first, and education and social sciences rank second. The University of Education offers research-oriented and curriculum-oriented postgraduate courses, including doctor of philosophy, master of philosophy, doctor of education, master of education, master of literature and master of social science education.
