Montessori education: let children grow up at their own pace
I attended my daughter's parents' meeting this afternoon. I thought the teacher would mention some of her shortcomings, but this parent-teacher meeting opened my eyes. The teacher introduced Montessori education in depth, which made me have a deeper understanding of educational methods.

Be patient with children.

Every child is excellent, but the urging of adults often kills the child's talent. Educating children needs patience to accompany them through childhood and youth, and don't interfere with their learning rhythm too early.

Importance of sensitive period

Every child has a different sensitive period to the acquisition of knowledge, not that the child is stupid. Parents need to guide their children and provide them with the tools they need to explore and think.

Useless reward and punishment theory

The real Montessori education is to provide a free space and a guiding environment for children to explore and think independently. Don't rush for success, let the children grow up at their own pace!
