The first. Introduction
Pathways was officially launched in the 88th district on May 4th, 20 18. Many new partners may be confused about access. I hope this article can help you learn more about the path and start your journey as soon as possible.

Pathways is the name of Toastmasters new generation education system. Partners who joined the club before March 2065438+2008 will be given a CC manual for communication and a CL manual for leadership. In the future, these two handbooks will become history, and the brand-new education system Pathways will provide brand-new growth services for the world's top horse members.

In the strategic plan of 20 10, the Chief Horse Council decided to innovate the existing education plan. The Council emphasizes the modernization of communication lines and leadership lines to meet new demands.

The existing education plan has been used for many years. However, since the 1970s, the contents of many communication routes have not been updated. Touma's path research will not be divorced from the existing education system, because it is based on the existing education. Pathways is a modern learning experience, which is suitable for our ever-changing global society. It will provide you with more opportunities to learn and grow, and realize your personal growth and career vision. Now you have such an opportunity to improve your extra skills, which can be used not only in Touma Club, but also in your work and life.

For Head Horse members, the path can provide:

(1) A learning experience tailored for your personal development and career vision.

(2) Enhance many knowledge opportunities closely related to the rapidly changing global market.

(3) Get higher and more frequent educational recognition.

(4) New technical resources enhance the role of your speech and support meetings.

(5) You can get educational materials online at any time.

(6) Provide demonstration videos of learning.

Paths (paths currently provide us with five core competencies and 1 1 paths (the number of paths is still increasing) for self-improvement.

? The five core competencies are:

(1) public speaking, (2) interpersonal communication, (3) strategic leadership, (4) management and (5) self-confidence.

? 10 paths are:

(1) incentive strategy, (2) skillful expression, (3) leadership development, (4) innovation plan, (5) vision communication, (6) strategic relationship, (7) dynamic leadership, (8) persuasion influence, (9) effective guidance, (10) team.

Every road has compulsory and elective items. When the member completes the 14 project and reaches level 5, it will be recognized by Path. These 14 topics are a combination of 10 compulsory courses and 4 elective courses, selected from a wide list containing various topics. Although members need to complete four elective courses, they can still choose as many options as possible.

After logging in to official website, you can find the navigation assistant. If you choose to use the base camp to get access, you will evaluate your skills, interests and goals online. After the evaluation is completed, the system will recommend three paths that best meet your expectations. If you are not interested in the recommended path, you can also choose any path you like.

Pathways learning mode is very flexible, you can learn online or print offline. Through Base Camp(Pathways' online learning management system), you will get some great learning tools, including videos, interactive quizzes and activities, feedback and recognition, practical skills and so on. You can choose the correct path from 10 unique online learning paths. If you prefer printed research, please choose full-color path and professional binding materials.

Base camp is the entrance to your online learning path, which will contain any resources you need in the learning process. Here, you will be able to complete your study project, track your study progress, contact other members of the club, and inquire about the badges and recognition you will receive during your study. The base camp will introduce you to some learning resources, including videos, quizzes and interactive activities.

Pathways still regards meetings as the core of the head horse experience. There will be no change in the role and process of the meeting. The biggest change is that you will have new opportunities to improve and master more skills and abilities. You will get the support of your club partners as always, and your club meetings will maintain a similar pattern.

For example:

In any evaluation and feedback project of level 1 of path, this project needs to hold at least three meetings, make a speech for the first time, and invite a judge. According to the comments and feedback, prepare a prepared speech and invite the same judge. After two speeches, I will comment on another member as a commentator. Through personal experience, complete a closed loop, so as to experience the importance of comments to the speech, rather than the separation of CC and CL as before. This is an important improvement of the path. The whole process needs three meetings, and it may take a month or even longer if it is carried out normally.

For most clubs, the Vice President of Education (VPE) will play the role of the base camp administrator. The base camp administrator will promote your growth by recognizing your academic qualifications and approving applications. If the VPE club can't take this responsibility, or if a club doesn't have VPE, the manager of the base camp will be the club chairman or secretary-general. The main responsibilities of the base administrator are as follows:

(1) Approve members' speeches outside the club.

(2) Degree of completion of registered members

(3) tracking the growth progress of members

(4) the project completion of the members who approved the use of paper materials.

Your regular membership fee includes your first study of Path, but if you choose to print teaching materials, the printing fee is $25. Except for the first free path (most of the two free paths), the learning cost of other paths is 20 dollars, and if you choose to use printed materials, you need to pay 25 dollars for printing.

If you are working on one road and decide to switch to another, as long as you switch within 30 days after the initial purchase, you don't have to pay $20. The $25 printing material fee you paid is not refundable. Remember: you can print a copy of the route information for free at any time. If you register Pathways online, you can print out any information about the base camp.

When you are a multi-club member, you can enjoy at most two free routes. To get the second free road, you must be a member of several clubs that implement Pathways in your area. Members who join the second club after Pathways is launched will not get the second free route. The agreement will take effect when the last region goes online after the two-year transition period.

You can get DTM in Pathways, and DTM is still the highest honor award of Toastmasters. Comparing the growth path of the existing system with the general path, you will find many differences:

You can get DTM in Pathways, and DTM is still the highest honor award of Toastmasters. Conditions for obtaining DTM in the route:

(1) Complete 2 paths.

(2) 12 months club official (if your club official's term is 6 months, you need to complete the club official's term twice, but you don't need to complete it continuously).

(4) As a project sponsor or organizer of community eloquence or youth leadership.

(5) Serving as a regional official for one year.

The above is some basic knowledge about access, hoping to make you no longer afraid of hedgehogs. More knowledge and experience of Pathways will be released later, and I hope to start Pathways' ice-breaking trip with you as soon as possible.
