Zhihu education
I think it's more about teaching children not to be afraid, but telling them what not to do.

Today's children are basically flowers in the greenhouse because of the continuous improvement of their living standards. They have been held in the hands of their parents and elders since they were born, and they are generally not courageous, because they have relatively little contact with the environment outside their families, unlike the previous children who struggled in the soil and fought with their neighbors, and were born fearless. So the environment can actually influence and shape a person's character.

Therefore, under the background of such a living environment, contemporary children should be taught to be bold and fearless. Now society is becoming more and more diversified. Unlike before, if you study hard and get into a good university, you will have a future. More depends on the child's personality and specialty. Those who like singing and dancing can make money by this, and those who are eloquent can also make money by this.

Generally speaking, society will give future children more opportunities and more room for development, but society will always be the survival of the fittest. How can I really shine in the vast sea of people? In fact, the first step is to show yourself bravely. If you don't even fight for the chance to show yourself, how can others find your bright spot? This is what I emphasized. We should teach children to be brave, not afraid of making a fool of themselves, not afraid of performance, not afraid of all courage.

However, while telling children not to be afraid, they should also tell them when they need to be cautious, when they can't be strong and when they shouldn't be brave. These are all things that parents and elders should do, but the balance between not being afraid and not daring requires children to experience and understand themselves in the future growth process.

Education has never been an easy task. I hope that contemporary parents can conform to the trend of the times and let their children not be afraid and dare to express themselves.
