Panjin City is located in the Liaohe Delta, with a land area of 3,749 square kilometers. It governs two districts and two counties with a total population of 6.5438+0.27 million. Panjin Municipal Education Commission was established on 1987. In 2002, it was changed to Panjin Education Bureau, responsible for the management of education and teaching in the city. In the past two decades, Panjin has gradually formed a relatively perfect and reasonable ethnic education system with Panjin regional characteristics, from preschool education to adult education, from general education to vocational education, and from basic education to higher education. At present, there are primary schools 186, junior high schools/64 and ordinary high schools 12 in Panjin, and there are three nine-year compulsory education schools1in Panjin.
