According to China Education Online, Fuzhou University has seven campuses, namely Jinjiang Campus, Quangang Campus, Xiamen Jimei Campus, Xiamen Gulangyu Campus, Pan Tong Campus, Yishan Campus and Qishan Campus.

Fuzhou University is a national "double-class" construction university, a national "2 1 1 project" key construction university, and a national key university jointly established by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1958, the school is a key university with the combination of science and engineering and the coordinated development of science, engineering, economics, management, literature, law and art.
