Heilongjiang International University is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) (China), located in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. Founded in 1949 and formerly known as Harbin Foreign Studies University, the school is one of the earliest foreign language and literature institutions in China. In 2000, the school was upgraded to the Academy of Sciences and renamed Heilongjiang International University in 2005.
