Can Chinese class make up for the shortcomings of love education?

"Junior high school students have entered adolescence, physically mature but psychologically immature, and the channels of love education are not smooth. It is necessary to set up such a unit. When asked "which love articles should you choose in your Chinese textbook", the students gave a variety of answers, among which "established" works of art such as Romeo and Juliet, Jane Eyre, Titanic, Butterfly Lovers and A Dream of Red Mansions won the most votes.
In this regard, Fan Shougang suggested that teaching these classic love works in one unit can not only have positive guidance, such as articles expressing love loyalty and persistence, but also have some negative cases to play a warning and reflection role. However, the writer Ye Kai believes that the selection of articles should extend from the teaching materials and read more long literary works, such as Young Werther, rather than some fragmented texts.
