"Learning two things and doing one thing" means "learning party constitution's party rules and series of speeches, and being a qualified party member", which is an extensive and concentrated education carried out by the Party in order to further strengthen the construction of the Party's style of work, promote the expansion of inner-party education to the vast party member and extend it to regular education.
The study and education of "two studies and one doing" is oriented to all party member, giving priority to the party's ideological construction, guiding party member to consciously standardize his words and deeds according to party member standards, further strengthening his ideals and beliefs, and improving party spirit consciousness;
Further strengthen political consciousness, overall situation consciousness, core consciousness and conformity consciousness, and firm the correct political direction; Further establish a clean breeze and righteousness, and strictly abide by political discipline and rules; Further strengthen the concept of purpose, take responsibility bravely, and play a vanguard and exemplary role in production, work, study and social life.
After more than a year's study and education, party member has received strict ideological, political, work style and discipline education, which has been unanimously affirmed by the whole society.
On February 2 1 2007, the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee held a meeting, deliberated and adopted the Opinions on Promoting the Normalization and Institutionalization of "Two Learning and One Doing", and decided to take "Two Learning and One Doing" as an activity that the whole party must adhere to for a long time.
