First, the nature and objectives of the course
I. Nature and characteristics of the training course
Learning Psychology and Counseling is an important compulsory course for the mental health education major in the self-study examination of higher education in Jiangsu Province, and it is also a professional course for cultivating psychological counseling and education talents.
Through the systematic study of this course, candidates should master the psychological law of learning and motivation and the principle of learning psychological consultation, learn to use the principle of learning psychology to analyze students' learning problems, and master the basic operation of psychological consultation for learning problems in different fields such as reading and mathematics and special learners' problems, so as to lay a solid foundation for the subsequent study of other courses.
Second, the curriculum objectives (evaluation objectives)
1. Understand the basic theories of learning counseling and learning and motivation, understand the factors that affect and promote individual learning, and master learning strategies and their applications.
2. Learn to master the coaching value of learning theory and motivation theory, understand and evaluate the learning process, and understand the learning problems in different fields and the main problems of special learners.

Third, the connection and difference with related courses.
Candidates need to master the basic knowledge of general psychology and educational psychology, and study this course on the basis of these courses. This course is closely related to the course of mental health education, but there are some differences. This course mainly uses the theory of learning and motivation to provide corresponding psychological counseling for students' learning problems.
Fourthly, the emphasis and difficulty of the course.
The focus and difficulty of this course is the evaluation and intervention of learning problems and learning disabilities. Candidates need to understand the characteristics of learning problems and different types of learning disabilities in different fields, comprehensively use various methods and means to accurately evaluate students with learning problems and learning disabilities, and on this basis, use the principles of learning and motivation to provide corresponding psychological counseling.
Second, the evaluation objectives
In the assessment objectives of this syllabus, the requirements of the ability level to be achieved are stipulated in four levels: memory, understanding, simple application and comprehensive application. The four competency levels are progressive, and the meaning of each competency level is:
Memory (1): Candidates are required to know and remember the main contents of the concepts and principles of psychology and psychological counseling in this course, and make correct statements, choices and judgments according to different requirements of assessment.
Understanding (2): Candidates are required to comprehend and understand the connotation and extension of the concepts and principles of learning psychology and psychological counseling in this course, to understand the differences and connections between related learning psychology and psychological counseling knowledge, to classify and summarize learning psychological problems according to different requirements of assessment, and to make correct judgments, explanations and explanations.
Simple Application (ⅲ): Candidates are required to analyze and demonstrate different types of learning psychological problems according to their known learning psychology and counseling knowledge, and draw correct conclusions or make correct judgments.
Comprehensive application (4): Candidates are required to make a multi-angle and multi-level comprehensive analysis of different types of learning problems according to their known learning psychology and counseling knowledge, and conduct corresponding psychological counseling operations for learning problems.
