The aid project to South Sudan includes five sections: top-level education planning, textbook development, teacher training, information and communication technology teacher training center construction and textbook printing. The purpose is to establish a modern and complete education system for South Sudan and meet the people's thirst for education in South Sudan. It is reported that the primary school mathematics textbooks developed by Hunan Education Publishing House were compiled by Song Naiqing, deputy director of the Expert Working Committee of Basic Education Textbooks of the Ministry of Education of China, head of the evaluation team of National Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards, Sun, member of the Expert Working Committee of Basic Education Textbooks of the Ministry of Education of China, and Kong Qiping, a core member of the National Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards Development Team. With the aim of "stimulating interest, laying a solid foundation, broadening horizons, cultivating ability and improving literacy", special topics such as mathematical culture, solving problems and exploring laws have been added.
