Nanjing National Defense Park used to be a military stronghold, and now it has become a famous place for national defense education and patriotism education in Nanjing. Founded in August 1992, with a total area of 300 mu. The five gold-plated characters on the gatehouse are the names of the park specially inscribed by General Secretary Jiang Zemin before the park was completed.
It consists of National Defense Education Museum, Services and Arms Museum, Yingmo Museum, National Defense Science and Technology Museum, Heavy Weapons Field, Simulation Training Ground, Military Sports and Entertainment Park, etc. "National Defense Education Museum" was inscribed by former vice mayor Liu Huaqing; The name of the "service hall" was inscribed by Chi Haotian, Minister of National Defense.
