Teachers' lifelong learning belongs to Article 8 of the Code of Professional Ethics for Primary and Secondary School Teachers. Lifelong education means that people should and need all kinds of education and training in their lives.

Lifelong education has two basic characteristics: First, it is a form of education that runs through one's life and is time-extensible.

The second is the educational process, including all existing forms of education. It is not a single or pure form of education, but rather an educational theory and concept.
The history of lifelong education
British adult educator Yeaxlee published Lifelong Education 65438-0929. In 1960s, Paul lengrand, Director of the Adult Education Bureau of UNESCO, formally put forward the term "lifelong education" during the international conference on promoting adult education sponsored by UNESCO from 65438 to 0965.
Pillar of lifelong education
The report "Education-Wealth in it" issued by UNESCO. It has been suggested that lifelong education is based on four pillars, namely, learning to recognize, learning to do things, learning to live together and learning to survive.
