Southwest University of Political Science and Law is located in Chongqing, a municipality directly under the Central Government in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in China. It is the earliest institution of higher learning in New China. After the reform and opening up, it has been the first batch of key universities and the first batch of excellent legal talents education and training bases in China. The Ministry of Education and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government jointly established universities, and the China Municipal Scholarship for Overseas Students entrusted training institutions.
