As an important part of China's education, vocational education has not been paid enough attention for a long time. As a school type that best meets the needs of market economy and society, and as a typical knowledge-intensive school, if it wants to develop itself better and meet the needs of education development in China as soon as possible, it should learn extensive management experience, improve its sensitivity to society and market changes, and cultivate and create marketable "commodities" that conform to the characteristics of the times and meet the market requirements through its own initiative absorption, dissemination and innovation of knowledge. This is a realistic choice for the survival and development of higher vocational colleges.

First, higher vocational education management problems

1. School management is too administrative.

With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, various new management ideas have emerged one after another, but they have not been reflected and valued in vocational colleges, and even conceptual knowledge is rarely understood. Objectively speaking, it is because the school lacks a modern information platform. Generally speaking, it is due to the relative lack of college management.

2. Uneven distribution of human resources

Scientific and meticulous performance appraisal is neglected in post management, and the result of talent evaluation is unfair. Second, the administrative management of the unit is extensive, and the rules and regulations are not standardized, scientific and practical, so it is difficult to conduct scientific and effective assessment of talents. Third, the current assessment method is single, which can not give a more accurate and appropriate evaluation of professional performance in practice. Fourth, influenced by the social environment, some examiners are generally good-tempered, unwilling to correctly judge talents, and the assessment is only a formality.

3. Not making full use of modern science and technology

Due to the lack of funds, the construction of campus network in vocational colleges is relatively simple, and the network sharing channel has not been opened; The college website only plays the role of notification; The book management system has not been updated for ten years and so on. The adjustment of new technical means is even more impossible.

Second, ways to solve the problems in the education management of higher vocational colleges

1. Attach great importance to the construction of human resources in vocational colleges

In terms of talent selection in vocational colleges, schools should formulate corresponding and reasonable rules and regulations, scientifically select and employ people, increase pre-job and post-job training systems for employees, comprehensively improve the quality of employees in vocational colleges, build learning schools, establish assessment means and incentive mechanisms aimed at promoting reasonable competition among employees, rationally use appropriate incentive means, and build effective communication channels among employees. In order to objectively evaluate and reasonably motivate on-the-job employees, effective communication must be carried out first. Only on the basis of communication can teachers' work level and psychological needs be determined, so as to evaluate and motivate teachers scientifically and objectively. Further improve the level of staff support; Conduct comprehensive performance analysis and evaluation. 2. Rational use of existing scientific and technological means.

Management tools refer to the application of various rules and regulations, target management, performance appraisal, employee career development planning and ISO9000 quality management standard system. It has obviously promoted the stability and standardization of organizational operation and achieved higher efficiency. Whether vocational colleges can reasonably choose effective management tools in the process of promoting their own management is an important condition for achieving management results and making the school develop, and the rational use of management tools is also an important content of school management. With the increasing penetration of Internet and other scientific and technological means into people's work and life, vocational colleges can also use blog as an instant tool to bridge internal and external understanding and communication, and play an important role in talent growth, teacher-student communication and scientific research. Conditional vocational colleges can also learn from the advanced management mechanism of enterprises, establish communication tools in administrative departments, and strengthen school management.

3. Improve the management level of higher vocational colleges.

Linking knowledge management with the specific educational and teaching management process and objectives of the school, and making a systematic analysis; Develop a concise knowledge management plan, including a common vision, guiding principles and overall goals; Choose a mature knowledge management system for trial use and development. Its main functions include document management, groupware, text mining and retrieval, enterprise portal and so on. The traditional decentralized management institutions in higher vocational colleges are not conducive to the implementation of knowledge management. It is necessary to use information technology to transform the traditional scientific research room, academic affairs office and personnel office, break the compartmentalization and mutual closure among departments, teaching and research institutions, libraries and reference rooms of various departments, establish specialized knowledge management institutions with unified coordination functions in vocational colleges, integrate various knowledge resources in schools, and promote knowledge innovation in schools. In the management reform of vocational colleges, detailed analysis and practice are needed from many aspects such as management system, management mechanism, management environment, management culture and management means. For higher vocational colleges, educational management has trans-generational significance, and its importance is being recognized by more and more higher vocational colleges. In solving the self-development problems of higher vocational colleges and adapting to the needs of China's educational development situation as soon as possible, we can draw the conclusion that in order to correctly cope with the changes of complex social external environment and improve their management level and competitiveness, we must choose advanced management theories and rationally use modern scientific and technological means to accelerate the improvement of the management level of higher vocational colleges.
