The college consists of five branches: rail transit branch, urban and rural planning and construction branch, equipment manufacturing branch, food and drug production and testing branch, information science department, finance and trade department, tourism management department, basic education department, ideological and political education department, continuing education department, secondary vocational education department and training department. There are 56 majors with enrollment qualifications, and the number of enrollment majors is stable at around 35 every year.
The College adheres to the international development strategy of "based on Guizhou, facing the whole country and looking at the world", always attaches importance to the opening up of education and steadily promotes the internationalization strategy. It has successively established strategic cooperative relations with nearly 40 overseas educational institutions, including American Hotel Association College of Education, French IPAG Business School, Cambodian University of Management and Economics, Zhongzhou University of Science and Technology in Taiwan Province Province, and Dutch College in Canada.
