The main responsibilities are:
(1) Drafting county-wide education policies and measures; Draw up the county's education reform and development plan and organize its implementation; Responsible for the overall planning and coordinated management of basic education (including preschool education), vocational education, adult education, private education and minority education in the county; Responsible for the work of teachers in the county and guide the construction of teaching staff in the school; Guide the reform of the school's internal management system; Organize educational supervision and evaluation.
(2) Overall planning of school layout; Responsible for the evaluation, review and approval of the establishment, merger, renaming and adjustment of basic schools. Participate in the formulation of policies and measures for education fund raising, education appropriation, education infrastructure investment and education fees, and supervise the collection and use of education funds in the county; Participate in the reform of the county compulsory education fund guarantee mechanism.
(three) to prepare the annual budget proposal for county-level education funds, and to be responsible for the financial audit of education funds, infrastructure investment, special funds for county-level schools and state-owned assets of administrative organs; Assist the financial department to supervise and manage the use of school fees and infrastructure investment; Guide the student financial aid work.
(4) Manage the academic education in the county, and organize the implementation of enrollment, examination and academic level examination for adult colleges and universities and self-study in higher education; Guide the county's educational scientific research, teaching research and education and teaching reform; Responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic education information in the county; Guide the school sports, health, art and national defense education, audio-visual education and other work in the county.
(5) in conjunction with relevant departments, do a good job in the employment guidance and employment system reform of normal graduates in this county; Responsible for the county language management. Responsible for the stability of all kinds of schools in the county; Guide schools to prevent and deal with cult problems; Guide the safety work of the school.
(6) Assist the organization department of the county party committee to manage the leadership of county-level schools; Assist the county human resources and social security bureau to manage middle-level cadres in county-level schools and township education cadres. To guide the ideological and political work in schools and formulate plans and policies to strengthen the ideological and political work in schools; Guide the publicity and education work and spiritual civilization construction of the school.
