Yesterday, the reporter learned from the Municipal Education Bureau that this year's high-profile urban primary and secondary school division adjustment plan has been introduced. Compared with the past, this year's plan has changed a lot.
As for primary schools, four primary schools operated by private institutions, such as Yancheng Experimental Primary School, Yancheng Shu Ren Foreign Language Experimental School, Yancheng Jingshan Primary School and Yancheng Multiple Intelligences Experimental School, began to run schools for public schools this summer. At the same time, due to the needs of urban construction and the implementation of Yulong Road West Extension Project, Yancheng No.1 Primary School will be moved to Du Yan Experimental School in Chengnan New District as a whole, and the second teenager will be moved to the original site of No.1 Middle School. The headquarters of Jiefang Road Experimental School will be moved to the vicinity of Jingshan Middle School in Chuanchang, Henan Province. The relocation of these schools urgently needs to adjust the teaching areas of the original primary schools in urban areas and divide the teaching areas of the newly-built primary schools.
In the junior high school stage, according to the provisions of the Compulsory Education Law that primary school graduates are promoted to junior high schools nearby, and the relevant requirements of the state, province and city, the municipal government decided to unify Yancheng Junior High School, Yancheng No.1 Junior High School, Yancheng Jingshan Middle School and Yancheng Mingda Junior High School into public schools this summer.
The division of teaching areas is based on the "Yancheng Urban Education Layout Plan", insisting on comprehensive coverage and arranging a public school degree for every school-age child; Adhere to the relatively close admission, and demarcate the teaching area by the roads and rivers around the school service area; Adhere to respect for history and face reality to ensure smooth transition and gradual optimization.
