What kind of students are excellent students in continuing education?
Measures for the selection of outstanding students in continuing education

First, the selection principle:

We should give full play to democracy and adhere to the principles of seeking truth from facts, selecting the best candidates, ensuring quality and putting quality first.

Second, the conditions of outstanding students:

(1) Good ideological and moral character. Abide by national laws and regulations and the rules and regulations of schools and correspondence teaching stations (points), and study hard.

(2) Good academic performance. Overcome difficulties, insist on self-study, and actively participate in teaching practice activities such as face-to-face teaching and counseling. High attendance rate, consciously, on time, carefully finish homework, strive to master professional theoretical knowledge and skills, and have excellent academic performance (scores in all subjects are above 80 points).

(3) Handle the relationship between work and study. Correctly handle the contradiction between work and study, persist in applying what you have learned, and significantly improve your working ability.

One of the following circumstances, shall not be selected as outstanding students:

1. Being disciplined by the school during the study period or being subjected to any administrative punishment at the work unit;

2. One of the courses studied has a score below 70 points;

3. truancy or cheating in exams.

Third, the selection method

Preliminary assessment

1. Excellent students will be initially evaluated in the first semester of graduation year, and the number of selection places will not exceed the whole class 10%.

2. Preliminary evaluation procedure:

(1) According to the selection conditions, the class teacher extensively solicited opinions and put forward a list of candidates;

(2) Discuss in groups and nominate according to 10% of the class size;

(3) The class committee will centralize the nomination team;

(4) the difference between the election to produce a list of preliminary evaluation personnel.

(2) Comprehensive evaluation

1. Students selected in the initial evaluation should make a comprehensive summary and fill in the evaluation form.

2. The student work unit will fill in the evaluation form (signed and sealed by the person in charge of the work unit).

3. Each class shall be audited by the college where it belongs (together with relevant materials, including academic achievements of all subjects), and signed opinions shall be sent to the College of Continuing Education for review and reported to the principal for approval.

4. The outstanding students selected are commended by the school, and relevant materials are included in my file.

5. Each college will submit the preliminary evaluation materials to the College of Continuing Education two weeks before the students leave school, and the selection of schools will end before the graduates leave school.
