Nanchang Institute of Technology is a private undergraduate (two universities) approved by the Ministry of Education. 1999 was founded in May; In April of 20001year, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college with the approval of Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, and was named Jiangxi Aerospace Science and Technology Vocational College; In May 2005, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to the first batch of private undergraduate colleges in Jiangxi Province and named Nanchang Institute of Technology. In April 2009, it was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of Jiangxi Provincial People's Government as the first batch of private universities in Jiangxi Province to award bachelor's degrees.
