2. Guilin University of Technology, referred to as "Guigong", is located in the world-famous scenic city of Guilin. It is an institution of higher learning jointly established by the central and local governments, and has been selected as one of the national "Basic Capacity Building Project of Colleges and Universities in the Midwest" and the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education.

3. Guilin Medical College, referred to as "Guiyi" for short, is located in Guilin, a world-famous scenic city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and was selected as the first batch of "Excellent Doctor Education and Training Plan" by the Ministry of Education.
