1, the first taboo: about taking a bath

Dogs will be uncomfortable and afraid when they first arrive in a new environment. At this time, the dog's resistance is very weak, and it is easy to catch a cold when taking a bath, and it will also cause diseases that are fatal to dogs, such as canine distemper. Therefore, don't rush to take a bath when the dog has just brought it home. If it is dirty, you can limit its activity area or use dry cleaning. In short, don't give the dog a wet bath.

2, the second taboo: about eating meat.

Ask the original owner what dog food he used to eat. At the beginning of raising this dog, it is best to let it eat the original dog food and slowly change it into other dog food. Meat can easily cause vomiting and diarrhea in dogs.

3, the third taboo: about drinking milk.

In particular, the intestines and stomach of puppies are very fragile and prone to vomiting and diarrhea. Meat and milk are very troublesome things for dogs, and diarrhea is difficult to cure when dogs are weak. Therefore, to understand this dog knowledge, the safest diet for dogs is dog food with boiled water. Although it looks lighter, it won't be a problem.

4, the fourth bogey: go out without a dog leash.

Going out without a belt is a very dangerous thing in itself. Fighting with other dogs, getting hit by a car and running away are all because they didn't bring a leash to the dog. So if you want to take your new dog out, even if it doesn't adapt, you shouldn't bring a leash. You can train it to adapt to the leash from the beginning and form good habits.

5, the fifth taboo: eager to repel insects

Insect repellent is very important for dogs. However, when the dog just gets home, deworming will make the dog feel worse, leading to illness or fear. It's not too late to repel insects when the dog adapts to the new environment, eats well and sleeps well.
