Views on middle school education
My view on the current Chinese education The current situation of Chinese education is not optimistic: the rigidity and rote memorization of words and sentences, the dismemberment and patterning of reading teaching, the wordlessness and proceduralization of composition teaching, etc. It occupies the leading position in Chinese education and is still the main project for students to learn Chinese. Although students forget to eat and sleep, it is like chewing wax and enjoying it, but at best, the gain of this kind of learning is only to cope with Chinese exams and strive for good grades, but it is gradually drifting away from the essential requirements and purposes of Chinese education. Moreover, Chinese is in an embarrassing situation: Chinese is being ignored day by day. Although the exam is listed as compulsory, it is one fifth or one sixth, but do students spend one fifth or one sixth of their time on Chinese? From what I have learned, students basically have no time to read Chinese after class, and all the time is spent on English, mathematics and physics and chemistry. The above phenomenon has become an urgent problem for education in China. First, the exam was like that-I saw the essence of education. Nowadays, education requires exams to be minutes and grades to be seconds. All educational activities are based on scores. A person's ability, quality and knowledge are all determined by scores; The level of teachers is also measured by their achievements; Whether the school is a prestigious school or a key school, isn't the score the final word? Pupils and middle school students with growing personalities, all their imagination activities, extra-curricular time and personal space are devoted to the cruel, survival of the fittest-style score education. So it should be said that there is something wrong with the whole education system, which is out of step with the times. It is time to reform its rigid system and outdated content. Now all educational activities revolve around exams. What the hell is this? I think this is still the concept of talent selection in feudal society that lasted for thousands of years. From the ancient imperial examination system to the present college entrance examination system, it is essentially the same: the talent selection system. Regardless of the positive significance of this system at that time, universal education and lifelong education have become the common consciousness of the public in the rapidly developing society of the world. If we don't reform the educational system of talent selection and sacrifice the right of most students to receive education, it is essentially inhuman from the perspective of education-why sacrifice the future of ordinary students for the birth of social elites? Therefore, the essence of education is to enable all citizens to receive the most basic education, rather than taking others as a ladder to promote the elite. From this perspective, I deny elite education because I deny the current education system of selecting talents for the college entrance examination. Educator Tao Xingzhi also said: Education should be the education of the masses, not the education of a few people. The new Chinese curriculum standard has replaced the previous syllabus, which is actually a change of consciousness from elite education to mass education. 65438-0996 The Ministry of Education conducted an investigation on the implementation of compulsory education in China. The results show that the current syllabus in China is too demanding, and 90% of the students can't meet the requirements stipulated in the syllabus. The standard requires: "The Chinese course in the nine-year compulsory education stage must be open to all students." Therefore, this standard is a "minimum standard", in other words, it is not an "elite education", but a "mass education" aimed at each child and focusing on the development of all children. In short, the most important thing at present is to implement an examination evaluation system that is compatible with "mass education". Second, Chinese class, the most important educational topic discussed by teachers at present, is either high-quality class, multimedia network teaching, the importance of teaching materials, or "returning the classroom to students". The detailed explanation of teachers' status and role is mainly the change from authority to guidance. Anyway, I think the most important thing in Chinese education activities is the teacher. Compared with other subjects, science teachers are actually very important. It's just that I feel selfish. Only first-class teachers can be qualified for the success and charm of education in China. Otherwise, it is impossible for students to enjoy Chinese classes just by saying a few poems and analyzing two texts. If students like Chinese classes, they will definitely like to have spiritual communication with you. This is the difference between Chinese classes and other classes. When we educate others, we should understand that we are not only educating others to learn new knowledge, but also understand a more important truth, that is, educating people is more important than teaching. Therefore, if a teacher is only exercising the duties of a professor, he is a junior teacher, at best, a "teacher". I think each of us should be a veritable teacher, but what is the geometry that can meet the title of "teacher" now? Probably rare chicken feet? I know I'm not good enough. I have to study hard. I can't laugh if I'm far away. How to "educate people" We always think that it is patriotic education, ideological education and moral education for students. In fact, if such education is carried out, it is better not to teach it. This makes "educating people" dogmatic. How many students are willing to accept it? In addition, you can't force it. For example, if you are not patriotic, you must be patriotic. Obviously, some innocent children should be educated like this about things they don't understand: "No climbing", "No trampling on the lawn" and "No fighting". Such a bold education is doomed to failure. Therefore, I don't think the teacher is just in the position of a guide. Teachers should be the most important part of the whole educational activities. Who should be healthy in personality and body and mind in a caring family but poor in material resources and a family with the right to be rich but indifferent to children? This may be a difficult question to answer. In fact, in real life, children from the latter have far more problems than the former: selfish, heartless, greedy, vulnerable, easy to commit crimes and so on. In other words, teachers have the greatest influence on students' spirit. If a teacher's own educational spirit is narrow, selfish and shallow, then students can't learn much from you, even learn these bad qualities from you, but they are complacent about their teaching achievements without knowing it. This is really the greatest sorrow. Therefore, the teacher is the most important. Our education needs teachers with profound knowledge and rich spiritual world. How to train such a team of teachers? This is indeed an important task of normal university. As a front-line teacher, we should always study and keep making progress in order to keep pace with the times. What kind of teachers do quality education need? Teachers' morality and love. Compared with the quality-oriented education in the new century, Tao Xingzhi's thought of love for teachers more than half a century ago actually leads to the same goal. This is not only because many educators have not really solved this problem, but also because in the process of implementing quality education, people feel more and more deeply that the premise of cultivating students' high quality is the high quality of educators, and among many factors of teachers' quality, "non-intellectual factors" such as teachers' dedication, understanding, equality and responsibility to students are the first. As the saying goes, there is no real education without heartfelt love for students.
