Step 1: Register as a user of the online registration system and establish a personal file.

For the first time, you must register as a user when you use the online registration system of TOEFL online test in the examination center of the Ministry of Education (TOEFL online test registration website of the examination center of the Ministry of Education). To complete this step, candidates need to provide basic personal information: name, ID number, mailing address, telephone number and email address, and set a password for themselves so that they can log in to their personal files in the future. After submitting the required information, the registration system of the examination center of the Ministry of Education will assign a NEEA user ID number to the candidates. Before registering, candidates will see the online registration agreement, which sets the corresponding terms for users of the online registration system. You must click the "Agree" button and agree to abide by these terms, otherwise, the system will not allow candidates to register. After successfully registering as a system user, the system will send a confirmation email to the examinee's mailbox.

Important note:

Please remember the NEEA user ID and password. Candidates are advised to keep it properly. Sharing the candidate's NEEA user ID and password with others may cause the candidate's personal TOEFL online test registration information to be tampered with or damaged without authorization.

The information submitted by candidates is only used to contact you and test safety.

Every time you log in to the online registration system of the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education, you must enter the NEEA user name and password of the candidate. After logging in, the system enters the examinee's personal area-"My Home Page". Here, candidates can: pay to register for the exam or make an appointment for the service, choose the time and place of the exam to register for the exam, inquire about candidates' payment, confirm the time and place of the exam, or re-register for the exam, or cancel the registered exam, and also inquire about candidates' scores. Personal contact information of the candidate is also displayed here. Click Update Contact Information to change the address and phone number.

With NEEA user ID, you can apply for TOEFL online test many times online.

Important note:

The TOEFL online test will use the candidate's name (in Chinese and English), gender, ID card type, ID card number and birthday. Please ensure that this information is true and accurate. Once submitted, the system will not allow modification.

Step 2: Pay the examination fee.

My Home Page provides a "payment" link for candidates. Candidates must pay the fee before registering for the exam or making an appointment for the service. Only after paying the fee successfully can they register or make an appointment. We suggest that candidates plan their possible services as early as possible so that they can register or book at any time.

Click the "Pay" link, and all the services and related fees provided by TOEFL online test are as follows:

TOEFL online exam fee RMB 500 yuan

Late registration surcharge is RMB 235.

The transfer fee is 535 yuan.

Restore the cancelled grade 135 yuan.

Grade increase fee (per copy) 65438 yuan +020 yuan.

A single oral or written reconsideration is 535 yuan.

At present, there are three payment methods:

Pay online through Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.

Online payment:

Click the corresponding online payment button of ICBC or China Merchants Bank to start online payment. Candidates will be directed to the secure website of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China or China Merchants Bank. To make online payment, candidates must hold an online payment card of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China or China Merchants Bank. Please browse their website or apply for an online payment card from the business hall.

Please complete the payment procedure according to the requirements of the bank website. After the payment is completed, the banking system will automatically guide the candidates back to the registration website. At the same time, please record the transaction number (payment number) provided by the bank so as to check and inquire about payment in the future. Usually, the registration system will immediately receive the payment confirmation from the candidates. Occasionally, the banking system will delay the confirmation of the candidates' payment to the registration system or the candidates can't get the payment confirmation immediately because they take the initiative to close the bank security webpage. Therefore, after 24 hours of payment, please log on to the registration website and go to "My Home Page" to verify your payment and registration status. If you still can't see the payment confirmation, please call the TOEFL call center of the examination center of the Ministry of Education for help. If the candidate's network connection is suddenly interrupted when paying on the bank website, and the online payment of the candidate may not be successful at this time, please call the bank service hotline to confirm whether the candidate's payment is completed. After receiving the payment confirmation from the bank, the registration system will send a confirmation email to the candidate's mailbox. Please note that in addition to the prescribed examination fee, candidates must also pay the service fee to the bank. Payment by bank wire transfer:

Click the T/T button, and candidates will see the important information of paying the TOEFL online test fee to the bank account designated by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education through T/T. These information include: account name, bank account number, bank name and address, and the amount of RMB to be remitted. Please accurately record or print the above information displayed on the screen. Bring the above information to the bank business hall for telegraphic transfer (any bank can handle it). Candidates need to fill out a wire transfer form at the bank. Please ensure that the relevant information filled in by candidates is consistent with the requirements of TOEFL website and accurate. Please keep the telegraphic transfer voucher for future reference. Under normal circumstances, the online registration system will confirm the receipt of the candidate's remittance within 1 to 5 working days. Please log on to the registration website at least two days after completing the remittance. If the remittance is not confirmed after 5 working days, please call the TOEFL call center of the examination center of the Ministry of Education for help. Candidates are responsible for accurately and completely recording the telegraphic transfer information provided by the registration website. In addition to the prescribed examination fee, candidates must also pay a handling fee of 1% of the total remittance to the bank that handles the wire transfer.

After the payment is successful, you can check the candidate's account balance online (the total amount of fees received by the registration system for purchasing various services), and the account balance is displayed on the right side of "My Home Page" under personal information. At this point, you can book the service.

Important note:

T/T is not a special service provided by the bank for TOEFL online test, but an ordinary remittance service provided by the bank. Therefore, candidates must ask for wire transfer service when they go to the bank business hall. If you only say that you have to pay the TOEFL online test fee, the bank clerk will not know the requirements of the candidates. At the same time, it is suggested that non-China candidates who can't speak Chinese wire transfer to the counter of China Bank, which usually provides English service.

Step 3: register for the exam.

When the account balance displayed on "My Homepage" is enough to pay for the TOEFL online test service, click "Register Test" to register for the TOEFL online test.

Please note:

7 days before the test day (excluding the test day) is the regular registration day; From 7 days before the exam to 3 days before the exam (excluding the exam day), if you fail to register within the time limit, you will pay the overdue registration surcharge and stop registering 3 days before the exam.

For example, if the exam date is August 8th, the regular registration for this exam will end at 0: 00 on August 1 day. The late registration time is from 0: 00 on August 1 day to 0: 00 on August 5, and the late registration surcharge must be paid at this stage. Registration will stop at 0: 00 on August 5.

The next page is for candidates to search for the location and date of the exam. Please select at least one month and one region, and then click Continue. The system will list all qualified examination rooms according to the specified month and place. Select an examination room and click the "Register" button. When the examination room is not arranged or all seats are registered, you cannot click the "Register" button. After registration, the screen will display the detailed information of the exam you registered, including the exam name, date and time, the name and address of the examination room. There is also a "Cancel" button on this page. Click it, and then click Continue to cancel your registration.

After the registration is confirmed, the next page will ask candidates to enter the information of four free schools. If candidates don't have this information, they can leave it blank for the time being. However, please note that in the future, if candidates want to give points to schools, each school candidate must pay 136 yuan.

Step 4: Fill in the background investigation.

The last step of registration is to answer questions about candidates' personal background information, which can be divided into voluntary items or left blank. After the answer, the system will ask the candidates to read and agree to the terms of the TOEFL online test manual on test implementation, fee payment and score report, and ETS policy on privacy protection. Candidates must choose to agree, which is one of the things that candidates should agree to in the registration exam. At this point, candidates have completed all the steps required for TOEFL online test registration, and candidates will receive an email confirming the success of registration. On "My Homepage", click "View Registration Information" to view the registration status of candidates.

Precautions:

Registration in the examination room of 1 must be at least 3 months in advance, otherwise the examination room will often be full. TOEFL is similar to GRE.
