Awards in British competitions are distributed in proportion to the number of people, not specific scores. The second prize and the third prize are produced through the preliminary competition, and are selected according to 30‰ and 50‰ of the participants in the preliminary competition. The total winning proportion is 86‰ of the participants in the preliminary competition, the grand prize 1‰, the first prize 5‰, the second prize 30‰ and the third prize 50‰.

Eight people from Henan University won the grand prize, accounting for 57. 14% of the winners of similar prizes in the whole school, four people won the first prize, accounting for 2 1.05% of the winners in the whole school, 35 people won the second prize, accounting for 18.92% of the winners in the whole school, and 67 people won the third prize, accounting for 23% of the winners in the whole school.

National english contest for college students (NECCS) is a national comprehensive English competence competition for college students, which is approved by the relevant departments of the Ministry of Education, co-sponsored by the Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and the Foreign Language Teaching Research Association of colleges and universities, and undertaken by the English Counseling Newspaper of Rentian Newspaper Group and the Examination Evaluation Magazine.
