It is precisely because Rao Sicheng has always adhered to new ideas and fought against feudal conservative forces in stealth that he was excluded from Nanchang. During his teaching in the school, it happened to catch up with the first great revolution. Rao Sicheng yearned for the revolution and was very concerned about the current situation and the country. At this time, Rao Sicheng was sick and poor. Rao Sicheng, whom Chen Geng met, was such a poor and sick old man, so he took out 200 silver dollars and gave it to Rao Sicheng. Rao Sicheng was very moved, but refused to accept it, hoping that the money would be used for soldiers at the front. Later, Rao Sicheng was invited to leave school and began a new journey.
Rao Sicheng also served as vice chairman and people's committee member of Jiangxi provincial government. 1957 at the age of 75, he was invited as the vice governor of Jiangxi. Although Rao Sicheng is old and in poor health, he can't do much work, but his ideological work and views on education are very experienced. He loves the motherland and the party. Rao Sicheng actively exaggerates his love to the people around him and puts forward many opinions and suggestions on education, which is of great practical significance.
However, in August of 1958, Rao Sicheng, an old man who worked hard all his life, died unfortunately. Just before his death, he also asked to hand over his hard-earned salary of more than 6,000 yuan to the country and do his last part.
