The school came into being under the call of revitalizing national light industry in New China. 1, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation

Mainly study the basic knowledge and skills of design, manufacture, operation control and production of various industrial machinery and equipment and electromechanical products. Based on mechanical design and manufacturing, it integrates computer and automatic control technology to realize the automatic operation function of construction machinery.

2, textile engineering

Mainly study the basic knowledge and skills of textile design, processing technology, quality inspection and trade, including textile trade and textile clothing, and carry out textile design and development, textile processing design and textile production quality control.

3. Light chemical engineering

Mainly study the basic knowledge and skills of production, processing and testing of various light chemical products, involving pulp and paper, fine chemicals, textile dyeing and finishing, leather engineering and other fields, and process textiles, leather and paper by chemical, physical and mechanical methods.
