China Preschool Education Annual Meeting
In less than three years, BIEA landed in China with British EYFS. With the joint efforts of pre-school educators in China, Xiang Tao, an international early education suitable for China under the framework of EYFS, has experienced waves of unrest. This gives us every reason to believe that the importance of preschool education has not only been paid attention to by the educational circles all over the world, but also the cognition of preschool education from all walks of life is becoming more and more profound. It is a common understanding to provide excellent early education for children's healthy growth.

On July 25th, I listened to EYFS International Annual Meeting (China).

1. What is EYFS?

EYFS is the legal framework of early basic education, which stipulates the learning and development standards of children from birth to preschool. Guided by the four principles that every child is unique (unique child), positive relationship, favorable environment and learning and development, we support children's learning and development in seven areas: communication and language development, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world and artistic and design expression.

Early education in Britain advocates "learning while playing". That is, let children learn and explore the world from games and play. But "playing" does not mean playing aimlessly, but playing in a planned and purposeful way according to the EYFS outline. Through the cooperation of parents and school teachers, children are provided with opportunities to learn a wide range of knowledge and skills, learn life skills, and lay a good foundation for good development in the future.

Second, the teaching under the EYFS system.

Essentials of EYFS teaching

Teaching is not only the interaction between teachers and children in adult-led activities, but also the interaction with adults and children in children's autonomous games.

? Observation-evaluation-planning of EYFS teaching?

Teachers collect evidence of children's learning and development through observation, including watching, listening, recording and describing; According to these evidences, children's development is analyzed and evaluated to plan their next development and study.

Third, the goal of early education in EYFS

? The goal of EYFS is to ensure that children can be fully prepared to enter primary education at the age of 0-5 through continuous learning. At the age of five, children should achieve the following goals:

Three main areas of early education in EYFS:

The goal of these three main areas is to inspire and develop children's basic skills. Generally, these three aspects will be evaluated after the child is two years old.

1. Communication and language

2. Physical development.

3. Personal, social and emotional development.

Fourthly, four special areas of early education in EYFS.

? In addition to the above three main areas, EYFS also stipulates four other special areas. The goals of these four areas are to inspire and explore children's interests and specialties, and to prepare and connect with primary school learning. Although parents and teachers will run through these four aspects in the whole early education process, they will not begin to evaluate these four aspects until the child is 3 years old.

4. Literacy

5. Mathematics

6. Understand the world.

7. Performance art and design.

label

? Early education is very important for children's growth. Children should learn all kinds of knowledge, skills and emotional abilities at the age of 0-5, that is, before going to school, so as to lay a solid foundation for later life and give full play to their greatest potential.
