Chai Chunze, 1952, a native of Qinglong County, Hebei Province. His father was an anti-Japanese veteran and later became a cadre. It can be said that he was born in a family with a red background. Because of my father's work, the family moved to Chifeng. In middle school, Chai Chunze was excellent in all aspects and became the representative of local educated youth. At that time, the state called on the educated youth in the city to go to the countryside, and he took an active part in mobilizing the educated youth around him to go to the countryside with him. In this way, he went to Yutian Gao, Mangniute Banner, Zhaowuda, Liaoning Province, which was far away from home and had a bad environment.
At first, the educated youth who came here could not accept this harsh environment, and so did Chai Chunze. They have written to their families, crying that the conditions here are too hard. After complaining for a while, he chose safety when he came and decided to improve the environment here. At the end of 1973, in order to mobilize more people to go to the countryside, Chai Chunze delivered a famous speech "Rooting in the countryside for 60 years". At this point, he has made a decision to stay in the countryside for a lifetime. My father wrote that he wanted him to work in the city. He resolutely rejected his father's proposal, saying that he was the representative and head of the educated youth and could not leave. Taking root in the countryside for 60 years is the right choice.
Now that we have decided to stay, we must make some achievements. Chai Chunze led the local people to improve the soil and political environment, plant crops and build reservoirs. From 1975, I participated in the organization of the first rice replanting. Influenced by Chai Chunze, many educated youths decided to stay, and he became more and more famous all over the country. At the end of the year, he also visited Japan as a member of the Japanese youth delegation.

However, Chai Chunze was censored, imprisoned and expelled from the Party because of his political mistakes. Later, Chai Chunze was admitted to Chifeng Radio and TV University and stayed as a teacher after graduation. Because of his excellent work, he was awarded the title of excellent educator by Chifeng Education Bureau.
