1.19860412 the fourth session of the sixth national people's congress passed the compulsory education law of People's Republic of China (PRC), which stipulated that the country should implement nine-year compulsory education. All provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government are required to determine the steps to implement compulsory education according to the economic and cultural development of their respective regions.

The Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) is a law formulated in accordance with the Constitution and the Education Law in order to guarantee the right of school-age children and adolescents to receive compulsory education, ensure the implementation of compulsory education and improve the quality of the whole nation.

3. The Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) was adopted by the Fourth Session of the Sixth National People's Congress on April 6, 2006 and came into force on July 6, 2006. The drafting of the Compulsory Education Law from 65438 to 0986 was put forward according to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China's decision on education system reform.

4. On June 29th, 2006, the 22nd meeting of the Standing Committee of the 10th NPC of People's Republic of China (PRC) revised and passed the Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), which came into effect on September 1 2006.
