Since 2003, our department has carried out the adjustment and identification of key secondary vocational schools year by year, which has effectively promoted the construction and layout structure adjustment of secondary vocational schools, promoted the improvement of the overall training ability of secondary vocational education, promoted the expansion of enrollment scale, and played an important role in the rapid, healthy and sustainable development of secondary vocational education.

On June 5438+February, 2007, the Ministry organized an expert group to evaluate the alternative schools of key secondary vocational schools declared in various places in that year. Five schools, such as Beijing Business Administration School1/KLOC-0, met the standards of key schools, and are now recognized (see Annex for the list).

It is hoped that the education administrative departments and school authorities of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government will pay more attention to the construction of key secondary vocational schools, strengthen the construction and management of relevant schools, and further improve the running level of secondary vocational education. The identified key secondary vocational schools should make persistent efforts, adhere to the service-oriented and employment-oriented school-running policy, and build themselves into high-level secondary vocational schools that meet the needs of social and economic development, have good school-running conditions, high educational quality and efficiency, and have a good social reputation, and can play a key and exemplary role in school-running and reform.
