The compulsory course of continuing education for secondary construction engineers is mainly focused on full-time study, supplemented by expert lectures or visits to typical demonstration projects. The elective courses of continuing education for secondary construction engineers are conducted in various ways, such as centralized counseling, individual self-study or online learning.

The second-level construction engineer shall abide by the relevant provisions of continuing education, obey the arrangement of the unit where he works, and accept the inspection and assessment by the higher authorities and the unit where he works.

During the period of continuing education, the second-level construction engineer still enjoys the wages, insurance and all welfare benefits stipulated by the state and units.

Apply for initial registration within three years from the date of obtaining the qualification certificate of Grade II constructor. Failing to apply or apply for registration within the time limit, the required continuing education hours shall be completed before applying for registration;

A first-class registered second-class construction engineer may apply for renewal of registration only after completing the required hours of continuing education during the registration period;

If the second-level construction engineer is deregistered or fails to renew his registration on time, and has been deregistered or unregistered for more than three years, he can only apply for re-registration after completing the required continuing education hours during the deregistration or unregistered period.

The second-level constructor shall receive 120 hours of continuing education in each registration period (3 years), including 60 hours of compulsory courses and 60 hours of elective courses. Among the 60 hours of compulsory courses, 30 hours of public courses and 30 hours of specialized courses; 60 hours of elective courses, 30 hours of public courses and 30 hours of professional courses; To obtain two or more professional qualifications, in addition to completing 120 hours of continuing education in the former career cycle, it is also necessary to complete the continuing education hours specified in other professional courses (including compulsory courses and elective courses); Newly registered majors need to complete the continuing education hours specified in the specialized courses of newly added majors within three years from the date of addition.
