There are 33 classes in the school, 1423 students. Among the 84 in-service teachers, there are special-grade teachers 1 person, 5 senior middle school teachers, 46 senior primary school teachers, municipal teachers 1 person, district teachers 1 person, 4 district-level academic leaders, 3 provincial-level teaching rookies, 65,438 municipal-level teaching rookies and 32 district-level teaching rookies.

For a long time, the school has taken "taking students as the main body, developing morally, intellectually, physically and artistically in an all-round way, cultivating specialties, developing individuality and conveying talents" as its school-running purpose, and has been praised by the whole society as "strong teachers, high education quality, distinctive school-running characteristics and all-round development of students' specialties".

Under the correct leadership of the District Education Bureau, guided by the spirit of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Theory of Three Represents, guided by the spirit of the Guiding Opinions on the Quality Management of School Education in Haishu District, and aiming at promoting the harmonious and common development of students, teachers and schools, our school has successively carried out a series of research work, such as "research and practice of flexible teaching of primary school mathematics" and "construction of a comprehensive quality management model of schools", gradually forming a new model of school management and building a school vitality.
