Sichuan Institute of Education was renamed Chengdu Normal University, and the signing ceremony for Deyang and Chengdu Normal University to jointly build Deyang Campus of Chengdu Normal University (hereinafter referred to as Deyang Campus) was held in Wenjiang District, Chengdu. The two sides will jointly build Deyang Campus in Chengdu Normal University.

ChengduNormalUniversity, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a public full-time undergraduate college sponsored and supervised by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, and was selected as an excellent teacher education and training program in Sichuan Province. Its predecessor was Sichuan Education Administration School, which was founded in 1955. It has gone through the historical development stages of Sichuan Education Cadre College (1964), Sichuan Education College (1978) and Sichuan Education College (1984). On March 20 12, the Ministry of Education approved the restructuring and changed its name to Chengdu Normal University.
