Su Shi's calligraphy seems simple, but it contains many things and has a simple feeling, so it has been praised by many people.

The ranking of the four great masters in the Northern Song Dynasty;
Su Shi is a leading figure in the style of "Shang Yi". Lead the new generation with the spirit of "books are not good, literature is not as good as people". Huang Tingjian is one of the "Four Bachelor of Su Men" and studied under Su Shi. Pay attention to Huang Tingjian's handwriting, which is quite Su. Although Mi Fei didn't join the "Su Men", he followed Su Shi's suggestion of "entering the Wei and Jin Dynasties in a plain way", took the second place as the king of France, and finally achieved himself.
Therefore, Su Shi made great contributions to calligraphy in Song Dynasty. His book Cold Food Poetry is known as "the third running book in the world". It can be said that I have no regrets in my life to have such a masterpiece handed down from generation to generation. Therefore, Su Shi should rank first in the style of "Shang Yi" and it should be indisputable.
However, Mi Fei was the first to discuss the influence of running script achievements on later generations. Miffy is the youngest of Song Sijia, but he has the greatest influence. Even Dong Qichang said that Mi Fei was "above Dongpo".
