The College of Continuing Education of the Central Academy of Fine Arts is a secondary college engaged in adult higher education. Its predecessor was the Department of Adult Education, which was established in 2000. In March 2004, it was renamed the College of Continuing Education.

Adult Higher Education of Continuing Education College of Central Academy of Fine Arts recruits three-year junior high school students and three-year junior college students for the whole country. At present, there are more than 900 students majoring in advertising design, environmental art design, publishing and reading, comprehensive painting, calligraphy and animation.

The unified time for the national adult college entrance examination is the third Saturday and Sunday of June 10, and new students are admitted in the spring of the following year according to the time stipulated by the college. The enrollment of adult higher education in Yangmei College of Continuing Education begins in July every year, and professional examinations are held in mid-September.
