First, we should attach importance to distance education and exert its functions.
Modern distance education in rural primary and secondary schools is an important measure to implement the spirit of the State Council's Decision on Further Strengthening Rural Education and promote the development of rural education. In the management of education and teaching, we should make full use of the existing distance education resources, pay attention to reality, practical results, practical application and really use them.
(1) Improve the management system to ensure the quality of distance education.
If management cannot keep up, it may become a mere formality. To this end, our school regards the management in the use process as the top priority, and has set up a distance education working group with the principal as the team leader, the teaching director as the deputy team leader, and the person in charge, with clear responsibilities and requirements, and resolutely put them in place.
1, improve the system. In order to standardize the management, in view of the poor computer level of teachers in rural schools, the regulations such as "Responsibilities of Tutors" and "Management System of Student Assessment" were revised, requiring teachers to study and train on time, and linking the learning situation with the year-end assessment.
2. Pay close attention to implementation. Strictly study attendance, arrange leadership inspection every time, strictly check and register the attendance of learning teachers, and the tutors put forward homework requirements on the basis of serious in-class counseling, and check and implement them, and provide special counseling for individual teachers with backward computer foundation.
(2) Strengthen teacher training and improve teachers' application ability in distance education.
1. First, establish the training objectives. According to the actual situation of our school, make a training plan, comprehensively improve the implementation ability and level of information technology and curriculum integration of teachers in our school through special training, and make full use of remote resources for education and teaching.
2, the use of distance education network resources for regular training of teachers. Every night, our school organizes teachers to study intensively, study independently (at least twice a week), operate on computers, encourage teachers to take distance education courses, carry out distance teaching and research, and require all teachers under the age of 55 (male) and 50 (female) to participate. At work, according to the relevant requirements of superiors, our school has continuously improved teaching equipment, paid attention to the strict management of the use process, promoted the standardized and scientific ratio of teaching activities, and ensured the teaching quality of distance education, and achieved good results.
(3) Organize research and earnestly carry out education and teaching activities.
In order to implement the application of distance education in our school, according to the reality of rural schools, our school has established the following research contents, requiring all responsible persons to organize and implement them: (1) class teachers use distance education resources to carry out characteristic theme class meetings; The Political and Educational Affairs Department uses distance education resources to carry out moral education for students; The guidance office uses distance education resources to carry out teaching and research reform activities and organize regular inspections; Teachers use distance education to carry out colorful teaching activities.
Second, care for "left-behind students" and strive for a double harvest of education and teaching.
"Left-behind students" is a special student group in our school. From a certain point of view, the education and teaching work of "left-behind students" has been done well, and the work of the school has also been done well. In order to make up for the blank of family education for "left-behind students" and support a blue sky for their healthy growth, the school has specially formulated a management system for "left-behind students" so that students can live stably in school, study with peace of mind and strive for a double harvest in education and teaching.
(a), the establishment of management institutions, improve the management system.
1, set up a care group for "left-behind students".
The school has set up a leading group, with the principal as the leader, the director of the Political Work Guidance Office as the deputy leader, and the class teachers as the team members, and set up an office to take charge.
2. Establish a sound management system.
(1) From the beginning of freshmen's enrollment, students set up "left-behind students" files, and each class has a special roster of left-behind students to find out the students' situation so as to contact them in time.
② The responsibility of "left-behind students" in the whole school is assigned to people, and the teachers of the whole school assume the management responsibility and follow up the service.
(2) Make a management plan and put the work into practice.
1, led by the class teacher, talks with students from time to time, with the assistance of any teacher. Each left-behind student found in each period has a heart-to-heart talk at least once, and the school holds a symposium once a month to understand their thoughts, life and study, and solve their various problems in time.
2. Strengthen the psychological counseling of the left-behind students and carry out colorful activities, so that "left-behind students" can feel the warmth of the "big family" of the school, so as to live happily and study hard.
3. Pay attention to their living conditions, visit their guardians from time to time, help them arrange the life of "left-behind students", and help "left-behind students" to be sent to the hospital in time if they are sick during their school life, and contact their guardians in time when the situation is serious.
4. Get in touch with the parents of "left-behind students" on a regular basis by telephone and letter, so that they can know their children's life and study in time and combine school with family. With the support and guidance of our superiors, our school has adopted some practices suitable for our rural schools and achieved some results, but we are not satisfied with the status quo. We will follow these ideas, constantly improve and perfect, and strive to bring our education and teaching to a new level.
