Obtaining a degree means that the educational level and academic level of the grantee have reached the prescribed academic title. Study and research in institutions of higher learning or scientific research departments, the results have reached the relevant provisions, and the relevant departments have awarded the professional knowledge learning qualification recognized by the state and society.
The State Council Academic Degrees Committee and the Ministry of Education issued a notice on printing and distributing the Measures for the Administration of Degree Certificates and Degree Granting Information. From 20 16 1, the degree certificates issued to the winners of doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees are designed and printed by the degree-granting units themselves, and the degree certificates printed by the the State Council Academic Degrees Committee Office are no longer used.
According to the Measures for the Management of Degree Certificates and Degree Awarding Information promulgated by the Ministry of Education, from 20 16 1, all degree-granting units will design and print their own degree certificates. Compared with the degree certificates issued by the state in the past, the degree certificates of Peking University no longer use the national emblem pattern according to the current regulations, but are changed to the emblem of Peking University.
In the text of the certificate, the degree awarded was changed from "according to the regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) (People's Republic of China (PRC)) on academic degrees" to "appraised by academic degree evaluation committee, Peking University". The degree certificate 20 16 1.5 designed by Peking University was officially unveiled. The new degree certificate combines the traditional cultural elements of Peking University and China. When designing the original Chinese degree certificate, the English copy was also designed simultaneously.
