Thoughts on Reading A Journey to Italy
Student Wang Dongmei, of medium height, has a round face, two big eyes and shoulder-length short hair. She is intelligent and quiet, and her Mandarin has a Sichuan accent. She is the monitor, loves to talk and laugh, and her academic performance has always been among the best in her class. In the spring of 2009, she won the Italian packaging technology award. At the invitation of Italian ACIMGA Association, I went to Italy for a study tour for nearly half a month from June 5438+065438+ 10/4 to 27. After returning to school, she sent me an English report of more than 10,000 words-a trip to Italy and its translation, and asked me to give me advice after reading it. As her teacher, I sincerely feel gratified that she stands out. I feel it, and writing this article is a feeling after reading it!

Wang Dongmei is the youngest member of the delegation, less than 2 1 year old. How did she get this honor?

ACIMGA Association is an Italian printing engineering association, which consists of more than ten powerful printing engineering enterprises in Italy. In order to strengthen the education and cultural exchanges between China and Italy, the Association decided to select six outstanding students from China universities majoring in packaging and printing every two years, award them the "Italian Packaging Science and Technology Award" and invite them to Italy for an exchange visit.

Our school is a member of International Packaging Association, the director of China Packaging Education Committee and the seat of China Packaging Technology Training Center. The association assigned 1 winners to our school. According to the award-winning conditions, the School of Packaging Engineering of our school put forward three candidates. Through examination, academic performance assessment, English proficiency test and professional academic papers, Wang Dongmei won the "2009 Italian Packaging Technology Award" with the advantage of passing CET-6, strong oral expression ability and excellent professional paper "Application Prospect of Nano-packaging Materials", and was invited to visit Italy.

Other people who won the "Italy 2009 Packaging Technology Award" and visited Italy were Du Bin (Ph.D.) from University of Technology, Li (Ph.D.) from South China University of Technology, Yu Huiqi (Master) from Beijing Institute of Printing, Mou (Master) from Wuhan University and Tianjin University of Science and Technology (Master). Wang Dongmei is the youngest in the delegation, and all her classmates like her. By car, by boat, boarding the plane ... everyone is scrambling to carry her luggage.

Italy is located at the southernmost tip of Europe, just like a boot extending obliquely to the blue Mediterranean. It has beautiful scenery, warm climate and developed tourism, and tens of millions of tourists go sightseeing every year.

Wang Dongmei led an award-winning delegation of outstanding students majoring in printing in China universities to visit Venice, Verona, Lecco, Piacenza, Modena, Florence, Milan and other cities.

The amorous feelings of Venice are always inseparable from "water". The winding water lane and the flowing clear waves are like romantic dreams floating on the blue waves, and poetry lingers for a long time. This city, which is less than 8 square kilometers, is cut into more than 100 islands by more than 100 cobweb canals. The islands are randomly connected by various bridges, and the beautiful Grand Canal runs through the whole city in an S shape, which is known as "the longest street in Venice". You can enjoy the essence of Venice without worrying about getting lost. The only means of transportation in the city is gondola. Many buildings are built on water. The water in Venice is clear and transparent. Houses, churches, red flowers and green trees are all reflected in the water, and seagulls are free to chase on the water, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. St. Kyle's church combines Byzantine, Gothic, Islamic and other architectural styles, and its interior decoration is luxurious and eye-opening.

Verona is a transportation hub connecting northern Italy and Central Europe. This is an ancient city with beautiful scenery. Shakespeare's masterpiece Romeo and Juliet made the city famous.

Florence is a famous cultural city with a long history, shrouded in a strong artistic atmosphere, with amazing artistic architecture and fascinating masterpieces. World-class artists such as Dante, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo were born in this city. Michelangelo's masterpiece David stands in the city square. The Wuci Museum, one of the three largest museums in the world, houses the original works of artists such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. Wang Dongmei said, "My two favorite works are Spring and The Birth of Venus, which are worthy of appreciation in terms of color and composition." Wang Dongmei paid a three-day visit to Florence with the delegation.

Milan, the second largest city in Italy, is a perfect combination of classical architecture and modern architecture. Gothic Milan Cathedral and its red or yellow maple leaves and dazzling fashion goods attract tourists. Wang Dongmei described excitedly that in Milan, people would not miss the opportunity to go to the monastery of San Liadelchi. Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper is painted on a sapphire in a monastery restaurant. It is 9.97 meters high and 8.85 meters wide. The picture frame is 44 square meters, which is an immortal work and is called the pride of Milan. In the picture, Jesus and his 12 disciples are lifelike. Its frightened, angry, suspicious, lamenting manner and posture are all described in detail and vividly ... Standing in front of this masterpiece, I feel as if I participated in The Last Supper, and my heart was deeply shocked! She said excitedly: "There are also Lecco, Piacenzhai, Modena ... The architectural styles, beautiful scenery and hospitable Italians of these places left a deep impression on us."

Learning printing scientific and technological achievements

Italy is a modern advanced industrialized country. In Europe, together with neighboring France and Britain, it is one of the four major economic powers in Western Europe. ACIMGA Association organized a delegation to visit some famous printing engineering enterprises in Italy, where the delegation once again felt the enthusiasm of the Italians.

I visited VTECO in Verona, Nordmeccaica in Modena, camozzi in Lecco, OMET in Piacenza, SITMA in Florence, POSSINI and RE in Milan. These companies attach importance to scientific and technological exchanges and innovation; Excellent production equipment and high labor productivity; Pay attention to market development, and have a high market share in the world. Wherever the delegation went, the company's senior leaders or scientific and technological experts personally introduced the company's situation, accompanied the tour, presided over the forum and listened to opinions.

Visiting the most advanced printing engineering enterprises in the world is an excellent learning opportunity for everyone, which broadens their horizons, makes them feel deeply and gains a lot.

At the end of the English report "A Journey to Italy", Wang Dongmei wrote: "On the eve of my graduation, I deeply thanked my school for giving me the opportunity to visit abroad and let me see the world and many cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in the field of printing engineering ... This visit is both an encouragement and a spur to me, and will always push me forward!
