Excellent teaching is teaching that embodies the spirit of quality education and the requirements of new curriculum. Excellent teaching is not only manifested in the excellent teaching concept, but also in the excellent teaching quality and teaching behavior. Combining my own music classroom practice, I talk about my understanding of four basic concepts of excellent teaching:
Traditional narrow-sense teaching takes teaching materials as the teaching object and regards teaching materials as the fundamental and only purpose of teaching. Teaching in a broad sense takes curriculum resources as the teaching object, which is not limited to teaching materials, but extracts more relevant contents to serve the classroom according to the combination of teaching objectives. For example, communication between teachers and students, students' daily life and various media platform materials can all be available teaching resources.
In our music class, we can increase the content of appreciating and singing pop songs according to the needs of students. Most of the music works in the textbook are traditional Chinese and foreign classics, and little attention is paid to popular pop music, but middle school students are very interested in this part. I usually give students a favorite pop song as a reward to enjoy before class, which is very popular with students.
Sometimes, I will search online for the latest and highest quality textbooks and music for students to enjoy and learn, such as new covers of some songs, or a good TV music program "The Voice of China" as teaching content.
The world of music is vast, and the development of online media in modern society provides more possibilities and more wonderful interpretations for music. Our music teachers should be good at selection and discrimination, and provide students with the best quality music resources on the basis of diversification.
"Monologue" teaching is teacher-centered, the teacher is the master of the classroom, and the relationship between teachers and students is subordinate. Dialogue teaching is teacher-led and student-centered, and the relationship between teachers and students is equal and mutual assistance. The core of "dialogue" teaching is equality, openness and respect. Teachers really regard students as individuals with independent personality, respect the different levels, speeds and ways of each student's cognition, accept that students are not good enough for the time being, and accept that students have different thinking and ideas. Only in this way can our classroom be warm, humanized, open and harmonious.
In our music class, we should respect students' different understanding and experience. Art itself is a rich and diverse carrier, and there is no standard and unified answer. Just like "a thousand people have a thousand Ahamolet in their eyes", dialogue teaching is particularly important. For example, after listening to a piece of music, let the students talk about their feelings. Some feel relaxed and happy, some feel humorous, and some feel lyrical and beautiful. The teacher can't tell which student is right and which one is wrong. They should understand and respect the different feelings of students who have the same feelings, encourage students to express and experience independently, and enrich their perception of music to the maximum extent.
Another significance of "dialogue" teaching is that teachers should be good at inspiring and guiding children, stimulate students' love for the subjects they teach through the cultivation of their own knowledge and skills, stimulate students' desire for learning with infectious language and skills, and produce a unique taste for music and art.
In traditional teaching, teachers talk more and students talk less; How much teachers teach and how much students learn, students are passive and dependent, which greatly limits the development of students. In fact, many times students are smarter and sharper than our teachers. Teachers' moderate letting go will stimulate students' great enthusiasm for learning, and students' potential is infinite. The learning process of students at school is a process of striving for independence and increasing independence.
In music class, in the process of practicing in Tao Di, I often give students a tune to practice first, so that they can help students in need at any time when practicing. Students are far smarter than we thought. On the basis that students can basically play, the teacher can play again, so that students can see their own shortcomings and find the focus of the next exercise. I sometimes let students compose their own dances and music, and the students' performances are very creative, which makes people applaud. Teachers should let go step by step like teaching babies to walk, and grasp the rhythm and timing, so that students' learning autonomy will become stronger and stronger.
Traditional teaching regards the classroom as a place to impart knowledge, and thinks that class is a task that teachers and students accomplish together, which is rigid and mechanical and has no happiness at all. And "excellent teaching" defines the classroom as a "living" classroom. Classroom is a vivid life collision between teachers and students, with joy and sadness, joy and discovery. Classroom is a vivid dance of life. Everyone has a different role, everyone is unique, and everyone is lively and energetic. There is knowledge transmission, thinking collision, emotional communication and love transmission. Such a classroom is the real "life classroom", and the happiness of teachers and students is realized and sublimated in such a field.
Music class is to cultivate students' aesthetic ability and artistic sentiment, which has a unique advantage at this level. In class, the teacher's singing, graceful and smooth dancing and clear pronunciation and mellow voice all edify students with the beauty of life; The rich emotions, touching stories, colorful pictures and mixed symphonies of different musical instruments in music works give people wonderful audio-visual enjoyment. Music itself is the carrier of emotion and the medium of life. Teachers should be good at guiding organizations and creating a "life classroom" full of artistic beauty with students.
The above is my understanding of the four dimensions of the concept of "excellent education", and I have done some in-depth thinking in combination with my own music classroom practice. As a front-line teacher, teaching is a skill that we should cultivate all our lives. Only by maintaining the state of lifelong learning, keeping an open and young mind and keeping a down-to-earth work style can we be irresponsible and irresponsible! In the new semester, let's work together to create our own unique "excellent classroom" and create our own happiness!
