At present, there are 20 classes in Grade One, 2 experimental classes in science and 4 key classes in experimental classes. The children there ... are really incomparable with those in our parallel class, especially in science. ...
I really disagree with Huang Gao's exam-oriented education. There are many activities in Huanggao, not to mention the sports meeting. There are also school cups, arts and science knowledge contests, speech contests, debate contests, English exchange, and the 5' 4 Young Singer Competition. In addition to the school magazine, the English Department and the Literature Society all plan and run magazines at their own expense, and then go to various classes to promote them. Every Friday, we have an hour to teach songs. Sometimes the teacher will show us movies and English songs during evening self-study and class. The time to read the newspaper every day is open for you to choose. Children who don't go home on Saturday night can watch the school movies on the playground, or watch horror movies in their own classrooms (because my classmates watched them with their classmates last week, in fact, as long as they get the consent of their classmates, they can use the computer at will and the network will open). Huang Gao gives students great autonomy.
I say so much because I was born and raised in Huanggang, and I love Huang Gao.
