Anhui Feixi Normal School, founded in 195 1, is a public secondary normal school. The school is located at the intersection of Jinzhai South Road and Fangxing Avenue in Hefei City, close to the University Town and Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a campus area of 334 mu and a construction area of more than 85,000 square meters. The school has more than 80 classes and 3 100 students. Feixi Normal School is one of the excellent secondary normal schools in China and enjoys a high reputation both inside and outside the province. The Ministry of Education has twice held a national on-site meeting on normal education in Feixi Normal School, and the experience of running Feixi Normal School has been promoted throughout the country and commended by the Ministry of Education. It was once determined by the Anhui Provincial Department of Education as the only special education and ethnic education teacher training base in the province. The school is the 11th consecutive civilized unit in Anhui Province, the green school in Anhui Province, the national advanced Taoist collective, the research and practice base of Tao Xingzhi's educational thought, the national experimental school for teacher education and the third national advanced school for harmonious campus. The school has a strong faculty, with an existing faculty of 156 and more than 40 graduate students, including 3 special-grade teachers, 48 senior lecturers and 57 lecturers.
