Report on environmental protection education in the fourth grade
Dear teachers and classmates: Hello everyone! The topic of my speech today is "Green Dream". Protecting the environment is an urgent task for mankind in the 2 1 century. With the continuous improvement of human living standards, the requirements for daily necessities are getting higher and higher. Some factories pour the discharged wastewater into clear streams for their own benefit; Discharge waste gas into the forest. Forests wither, streams become muddy, and some small animals and humans die because they can't drink clean water. In the past ten years, 70% of the world's tropical rain forests have been destroyed. At present, the desertified land in China has reached more than 2.674 million square kilometers, and the water quality of seven major river systems exceeds the standard by 40%. More than 400 of the country's 668 cities are short of water, and one third of the country's population breathes seriously polluted air. This has endangered our living environment! Therefore, more and more attention has been paid to environmental problems. Qu Ge, a world-famous environmental scientist, once said: "Without a clean and beautiful environment, no matter how rich the conditions are, it is meaningless." Protecting clear water and blue sky and caring for the earth's home are my green dreams. I hope I can build a large green forest and give animals a beautiful home; I hope to build a car without exhaust emissions and breathe fresh air every day; I hope I can also build a filtering machine, so that all rivers are clear and pure, and fish are at ease. Maybe all this is too far away from me, but dreams will guide me and light up the road under my feet. Now we can't realize that beautiful dream, but for our common dream, we can start from me, start from small things, and start from what we can: First, try not to use disposable chopsticks, too much use of disposable chopsticks will make it more difficult for people to cut down trees. Second, save water and electricity, and turn off the faucet in time after use, because a dripping faucet can waste 1.8 liters of water for half an hour. Third, turn off the light in time after use, which can not only prevent the waste of electric energy, but also avoid the fire. Fourth, don't throw away waste batteries, plastic bottles and other items. The chemical waste in the battery will make one square meter of land useless. In fact, we can do many things ... I believe that with our joint efforts, our home will definitely become a beautiful, healthy, happy and harmonious world! Our dream will come true!
