"Rice smells fragrant and ducks are fat" is a major feature of rural areas in southwest Anhui. After rice harvest, a large number of ears, grains and small animal resources are used to raise ducks, and natural meat and vegetable feed is used to save grain, fertilize quickly and efficiently. This feeding method of "driving ducks out of the lake" after autumn was summarized by Japanese scientists as an ecological agriculture model of rice field cooperation.
1. Number of ducks driven
Generally, 800 ~ 1600 per person is appropriate, or 2 ~ 3 people can cooperate to raise 3000 ~ 5000.
Driving duck shed
A duck-watching shed built by a duck driver to release ducks at any time is propped up with bamboo pieces and covered with waterproof cloth. What's in it is a simple bed for duck drivers to rest. When you go out, you need pots, stoves and other appliances to put ducks.
ponder
Buy ducklings 65438+ 0 ~ 2 months before rice harvesting, put them on soft straw and separate them with small fences; Install a ceiling fan every 30 ~ 50m 2 to cool down and keep the proper temperature at 265,438+0 ~ 26℃. Ducks have the nature of sleeping in piles, so they should be pushed away gently with their hands every once in a while to avoid being crushed to death. 1 week, 50 ~ 70 ducks in each row are fed in rows.
Tame ducks
/kloc-When the ducklings are 0/5 days old, they can be gradually put into a small pool to start training. After being put into the pool for a short time, they will catch up with the shore to avoid the ducklings from being too tired and drowning, and then they can be gradually put into the pool for a long time. Feed the ducks and live with them every time I come back. Don't let ducks go back to the shed without food or alienate them because they are afraid of people, making them difficult to tame. After 30 days of age, ducks can be stocked in Oda first, and poles can be set up around the stocking yard in advance. Plastic bags and films are tied to poles and move with the wind, so ducks have the habit of being afraid of "moving" things, which can prevent them from getting lost. Patrol frequently when stocking, don't let the ducks run out of the field outside the pole, and come back before dark to avoid getting lost and spend the night outside with the ducks. At first, ducks were difficult to tame, but after a long time, ducks became regular, and they became familiar with the voice of duck drivers and the posture of duck poles in their hands, so it was easy to catch them.
Seize the time to improve
Starting from the field with early harvest, it is gradually transferred to the rice field with late harvest for stocking. Ducks can't stay in dry fields, so they can put water in the fields properly and let them peck freely. Watch the duck shed move with the ducks. At night, surround the ducks in the shed and feed them, so that the ducks can spend the night quietly.
Attention should be paid to stocking in deep grass and large furrows to prevent snakes and weasels from invading and ducks from being driven away. When ducks are fat in late autumn, they can be listed in batches one after another.
