The school has successively won nearly 100 honorary titles such as "National Advanced Unit of Moral Education in Primary and Secondary Schools", "Advanced Unit of Spiritual Civilization Construction in Jilin Province" and "First-class School in Changchun City". The results of the senior high school entrance examination are commendable-it has been in the leading position in the county for many years. In 20001and 2002, the enrollment of experimental middle schools was 152 and 168 respectively, accounting for 34% and 37% of the total enrollment of experimental middle schools in that year. In 2003, the scores of the senior high school entrance examination were re-scored, and 188 students were promoted to experimental middle schools, accounting for 42% of the total enrollment of experimental middle schools. Among them, Sun, Sun and Sun won the third place in the senior high school entrance examination in the county with the scores of 582, 58/kloc-0 and 580 respectively. In 2003, the enrollment rate of school graduates reached over 90%.

It is worth mentioning that in the college entrance examination in 2003, among the eight students with more than 600 points in the county, Nongan No.1 Middle School accounted for six. Among them, Feng Tiefu won the top prize of Jilin Science College Entrance Examination with 675 points.

Nongan No.1 Middle School has always held the title of junior high school champion in all previous sports meetings in the county. In 2003, the first art festival competition was held in Nong 'an County, and the first prizes of vocal music, instrumental music, dance and art were won by the students of Nong 'an No.1 Middle School. In the same year, he won the first prize in the basketball competition for middle school students in the county.

In all kinds of competitions at all levels, almost all the winners in Nong 'an Division are from Nong 'an No.1 Middle School. Starting from 1994, the whole school won more than 1200.

In 2003, State Councilor Chen Zhili, Vice Minister of Education Wang Zhan and relevant provincial and municipal leaders visited Nongan No.1 Middle School, which was well received.
