History of Rizhao Normal School
1905 (Guangxu 3 1 year), Rizhao Normal School was established. The school is located in Kuifeng Academy at that time (in a junior college, east of the present guest house). The main task is to train teachers for the implementation of new learning, and it will be closed in a few years. This is the beginning of Rizhao normal education.

During the period from the first year of the Republic of China to War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Rizhao County's single-level teachers' colleges were established one after another (colleges and universities 19 12), and Rizhao County's primary schools and junior high schools attached normal classes (1930). The curriculum is basically the same as that of senior high school and junior high school, and there are also courses on ethics, pedagogy, psychology, education management law, rural education and practice, to train teachers for the "shortage of primary school teachers in this county" (1930, Shandong, according to Sun Baoxian). During War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, in the spring of 1943, a formal workshop was established in the former site of the county seat. 1in the spring of 945, the Japanese invaders withdrew to the county seat, occupied the school building and closed the school. Since then, in order to strengthen the training and improvement of teachers, the county democratic government has sent a large number of personnel to study in the normal department of Binhai Middle School and Zhong Bin Middle School, and at the same time established a short-term normal school in daling village, Dapo District (1944), which mainly recruits social youth and in-service teachers with a certain educational level. Later, Rizhao Normal School was established in July 1947 (Jiajiataoyuan Village, Jufeng District), mainly to recruit young people from poor farm labourers. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), with the gradual recovery of the national economy, Rizhao normal education has also developed rapidly and entered a standardized development path.

The rest were transferred to the Sixth Accelerated Normal School to continue their studies.

1952 10, the sixth crash normal school of Yishui Special Department was established in Chengguan Primary School (now Chengguan Primary School). Zhang Huiting is the headmaster. Most of the graduates in this period were assigned to the post and telecommunications and banking departments except the second-grade students of the Sixth Accelerated Normal School, which laid the foundation for Rizhao education in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China and emerged a number of outstanding model figures and heroes. For example, Lu Jiaxi, a graduate of 1952 accelerated normal class, was rated as an advanced worker in the national cultural and educational system by 1960 for his outstanding work, attending national cultural and educational gatherings and attending banquets hosted by Premier Zhou Enlai.

1956, in the former site of Rizhao Middle School (now Taoluo Town, Rizhao City). At this time, Rizhao Middle School has moved to the county to build Rizhao Normal School in Shandong Province. The name of the school began from this, and the title has been until now. The principal is Xu Zizhen, a famous education expert. In that year, the school enrolled four three-year junior teacher classes with 208 students and 22 teachers. School started on September 1 day. This year, students graduated early in the summer vacation 1958, and the school moved to Chengxiling (the current school site) in Rizhao.

From the founding of the school to the early 1960s, it was the first peak of the development of normal education in Rizhao. At that time, although the conditions for running a school were extremely poor, the life of teachers and students was difficult, but due to the all-out and hard work of the whole school, the teaching quality was well guaranteed, and a large number of outstanding teachers were trained for the primary education in Rizhao.

1970, the school was initially restored, and was directly managed by the then "County Revolutionary Committee" education group, holding short-term training courses for teachers. From 1973, "students of workers, peasants and soldiers" will be enrolled, with a schooling of two years (of which grade 76 is one year). By 1976, more than 400 students have signed up.

1977 resumed the entrance examination system in the winter, and the school enrolled high school graduates with a two-year academic system (grade 77 started in the spring, 1978 entered the school in March, and 1979 graduated in February). By 1980, two-year middle school teachers enrolled 572 students in 13 classes (including 84 students in 1980 private primary school teachers enrolled 2 classes). 1980 Autumn, Linyi Normal School merged, and the enrollment scope of Rizhao Normal School expanded from the county seat to Juxian, Junan, Linyi, Yishui, Linshu and other counties and cities. At the same time, the school was upgraded from a county-level unit to a prefecture-level unit, which was directly managed by Linyi Summer Education Bureau. During this period, the person in charge was Ma Qinyuan (1977) and the stone repairer (1979).

During this period, national education has just stepped out of the trough of the "Cultural Revolution" catastrophe. School leaders led teachers and students to overcome many difficulties, rectify the teaching order and rebuild the campus, which laid the foundation for the recovery and development of school work later. A large number of high-quality normal college graduates have been trained, most of whom have become the backbone of Rizhao education front, and many of them have taken up leadership positions at all levels of education and achieved remarkable results. Zhang Chuan, a 77-year-old graduate, is one of them. After graduation, the student rose from the front line of teaching and made a breakthrough in history teaching. Since then, he has been in charge of the city's teaching and scientific research work, and achieved remarkable results, becoming a top-notch talent in Rizhao City and an outstanding worker in the national education system. He used to be the executive director of the national "Target Teaching Professional Committee" and the deputy secretary-general of the "Middle School History Teaching Professional Committee" in Shandong Province. He has made outstanding contributions to supporting education in Xinjiang, and has been highly praised by the government of the autonomous region, and was awarded the honorary title of "provincial outstanding aid cadres". He is currently the deputy director of Rizhao Education Bureau and the president of Rizhao Radio and TV University.

The teaching quality and students' comprehensive quality are in the forefront of the whole region, and the quality of graduates is further improved. Most of the special-grade teachers in Rizhao Primary School are graduates trained by Rizhao Normal School during this period.

The development of schools in this period laid a good foundation for the rapid rise of schools in the 1990s and the smooth implementation of the "three-step strategy" in the new period.

After Rizhao was upgraded to a prefecture-level city. 1990, the school was under the jurisdiction of Rizhao City and was promoted to a department-level unit. Li Yongting became vice president and deputy secretary of the Party branch, and presided over the school work. The municipal party committee and government attach great importance to the construction of normal schools and mobilize all sectors of society to support the development of normal schools. It provides a strong guarantee for the second venture of Rizhao Normal University.

Under the new situation, the school leaders put forward the forward-looking decision of "high starting point and leaping development" in view of the poor foundation and weak foundation of the school. It set off the second entrepreneurial climax of school buildings, school management, education and teaching reform. From 1990 to 1994, the school enrolled 23 classes with 1026 students. There are 9 classes in teachers' college, with 4 students11. In the meantime, 1993, 50 students were enrolled in vocational secondary school (art decoration major). With the approval of the Planning Commission, sports technical secondary school classes were started, which filled the blank of sports technical secondary school in Rizhao City.

During this period, the school implemented a new teaching plan ("four blocks"), initially constructed a "one center, four combinations" teaching model, strengthened the teaching routine requirements of normal schools, increased the training of basic teaching skills, strengthened "management by objective, introduced competition mechanism" in education and teaching, and implemented a four-in-one evaluation system of diligence, quantity, quality and performance. Ideological and moral education adheres to the guiding ideology of "educating people as the foundation", which makes the school's education and teaching work take a big step on the road of "three orientations".
